We are up and running for the Second Annual Leigh High School Haunted House. Auditions will be held Sept 27th from 2:30-6:30 p.m in Room 74
We have a wonderful lineup of designers crafting each room and are thrilled to have Senior Andrea Goeke Directing this year. Remember, we have three different writers, so every entry is a different experience!

Welcome to the official site for the Leigh High School Theater Arts Department. Leigh High School’s Theatre arts department strives for excellence and quality in all of our pursuits. Every year we produce an original Haunted House, a Fall Play, a festival of one act plays, a spring musical, and two original short children’s plays. On top of that our active Thespian society produces multiple nights of theatre throughout the year as fundraisers to support our theatrical ventures here at Leigh.

Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year. Assuming the ancient Mayans are wrong and the apocalypse isn’t looming on the horizon, Leigh has a very exciting year ahead of us. Our First big event is our Fall Play Auditions for The Foreigner by Larry Shue on Aug 29-31 from 2:30-5:30 pm. Copies of the script are currently available in Room 74 for student perusal. Students do not need to prepare anything for the auditions, but Mr. Ringsted does suggest they read the play (or a good summary) in order to be prepared for the cold reading process. Remember, we can always use new Technicians, publicity people, and artists, so all are welcome to stop by Auditions. Feel free to download an audition form and bring to it auditions to save time!

Auditions will be held August 29th in room 74 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Callbacks will be held August 30th from 4:00 p.m to 6:30 p.m.

August 31st from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Anyone interested in being on Technical Run crew, Build Crew or creating original artwork for the posters and program should come to auditions and fill out an application.
